Reporter noted yesterday, in order toensure the completion of the year's index of “Four Focus” of Jingzhou Bureau ofCommerce, Jingzhou had achieved the total retail sales amount of consumer goodsof RMB 49.358 billion from January to May, an increase of 10.0% year on year.

According to task objectives, Jingzhou makesefforts to increase the amount of limited trading above enterprises. Before theend of June, the new limited trading above enterprises of all counties andcities shall be no less than 3 while the whole city will achieve 30 at thefirst half of the year so as to provide support to the completion of the tasksof the whole year. Focusing on guidance to solve limit problems of keyenterprises, key areas, and key industries while focusing on training toconsolidate the foundation of statistical service. In recent days, JingzhouBureau of Commerce has joined hands with Jingzhou Statistical Bureau to inviteexperts from Sichuan Provincial Statistical Bureau to give special lectures onthe statistical work of social consumer goods of allcommerce bureaus and statistical departments of the whole cities so as tofurther improve the capability and level of statistical management of socialretails and complete the annual target. From this month, the special group ofsupervision work of Jingzhou Bureau of Commerce will conduct in-depthadministration and supervision work at all counties and cities.
